Special Message from our President:

There are a few very important things that I need to bring up. We will start collecting dues in November, that being said you will not get a notice in the mail! Everybody's dues are due by December 31, 2026. Our dues run calendar year, everyone seems to be forgetting that.
You will have no later than January 31, 2027 to avoid late fees.

Changes this year to help save the club money, your key card will become your membership card.

You will be able to pay dues with your credit card by calling the club on a Monday night. You can also pay in person with your credit card to receive your receipt. Dues are the same as last year, $75 per member, $55 for members over 70 years of age. Discount for married and domestic partners of $20. Junior members are still $1 per year as long as they are in school , either high school or college, if they go into military , they don't pay dues until their military career is over. We are also working on the new bylaws to offer a military discount , as well as a first responder discount.

At the next meeting on November 11th, we will be voting for our trustees.
Running this year are current board members, Peter Tautznik, Jim Fox, Bjay Belanger, and Dave Bardascini,
new comers running Sue Ellen Harrington, Pat Malagisi, and Alvie Gallt.
You can vote for 5, the highest vote getters will get the positions. Voting for more than five will void your ballot.
There are no absentee ballots.You must be present to vote that has always been club rule.

We will be getting the new bylaws out on the website asap. All were invited to the special meeting on Oct 28th, when we went over them and discussed. Many great points were brought up and we changed a lot. The document is not perfect , but no document is, it does protect the membership as well as the club. I want thank the chairman, Bjay Belanger, and his team Cory Goodspeed, Tony Basile and Emory Chase, for outstanding work on these bylaws.

A SPECIAL MEETING to cover proposed changes to our BY LAWS Oct 28th, 2026 7PM

NEW YORK STATE PISTOL LICENSE CLASS
Our class has been approved by Fulton County, Montgomery County,
Schenectady County, Herkimer County and Saratoga County to date!

Our last classe for 2026 =
November 13th, 14th, and 16th 2026
The class will start at 6:00 p.m. on Friday night until 10:00 p.m.
On Saturday we will start again at 8:00 a.m. and it'll run until 5:00.
On Monday we will once again start at 6:00 pm till
All students are asked to bring a bag lunch on Saturday and bring snacks for yourself. We will provide water and coffee Friday and Saturday.
Any questions email Paul. The total cost that a class will be $175.
You can either submit full payment of $175.00 or get your name on the list you may submit a $100.00 deposit that is non-refundable.
The size of the class will be a limited number of students, so it will be on a first come first serve basis.
We will not register anyone for the class unless at least the deposit of $100.00 is submitted.

Citizen Preparedness Corps will be conducting a FREE 1+hr Emergency Prepare Program
Pine Tree Rifle Club October 27th 6PM 2026 -

Some items covered in this program are:

Developing a family emergency plan
Building a “Go-Bag” with essentials (attend entire program recive a basic go-bag)
Active shooter scenario awareness
Basic disaster preparedness, response, and recovery principles

NYS PistEol Revolver License Recertification
If your permit was issued before January 15, 2013, the deadline to submit your recertification was January 31, 2018.
If your permit was issued on or after January 15, 2013, the deadline to recertify is five years after the date the permit was issued.
As a permit holder, it is your responsibility to recertify your permit whether you receive a notification letter or not.
